This summer (2019) I participated in a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at the University of Nevada Reno (UNR). The REU focuses on Human Robot Interaction and is under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. This journal documents my REU experience and progress along the 10 week program.

Each journal will answer the following questions:

   1. Photo of the week and 1-3 paragraphs describing why I chose this photo and what feelings/impressions it 
      conveyed 

   2. 1-3 paragraphs Status: capture what I did for the week and 1-sentence on what I plan to do for next 
      week

   3. 1-3 paragraphs on what I learned about myself

   4. 1-3 paragraphs describing new person I met (preferably not from UNLV) e.g. PhD student, another REU 
      fellow
