Since we booked accommodation with a kitchen, we were able to cook our own meals. We bought ingredients and made Korean food. I thought I didn't miss Korean food while I was in Las Vegas, but once I had it, I realized I did. It was so delicious that I ate like there was no tomorrow. Chicago felt very different from Las Vegas. It had many large and tall buildings and the river flowing between them was amazing. Even the cold weather and the constant wind felt nice.

This week, I didn't meet any new people since I was traveling to Chicago for spring break. Instead, I had the opportunity to get closer to my fellow Korean friends. Thanks to their positivity and meticulousness, we had a very fun and fulfilling trip. I am truly grateful for that.

Americans' considerate attitude was admirable. When getting off the plane, they always waited to let the person ahead exit comfortably. Even when they could enter first, they held the door until the person behind them could pass through easily. On narrow paths, they always wait for the other person to go first.
In Korea, people tend to focus on getting things done quickly. Therefore, it's rare to see strangers waiting for others. Perhaps that's why people here felt kinder and more relaxed, and I found their thoughtful manners very impressive.

I think I really love traveling. Going to new places, seeing new landscapes, and trying new foods bring me so much joy. Since both are in the U.S., I though Chicago and Las Vegas wouldn't be that different. However, the atmosphere and weather were so distinct which left a strong impression to me. Through traveling, I feel that I need to work hard and earn money so I can visit more places and gain more experiences.

This week, I couldn't learn technical skills a lot since I was traveling to Chicago for spring break.
