 In many placed beyond line of sight fpv flying is strictly illegal. So if you decided to embark on doing this please keep it to a minimum, or at least in a controlled environment.

+This is where it gets a little subjective. If you talk to a group of FPV enthusiasts some will tell you to buy brand name (ex. Fat Shark, Immersion, etc.) but others will swear by Chinese knock offs. It comes down to preference or how lucky you get with your Chinese products.
