Cutting the 2x4s
-Cut the 2×4's into 3, 22“ pieces and will act as a cross brace for your chair.
-After you finish cutting use a pencil to find the center points of each end so you can drill the holes for the bolts.
Use a 5/32” drill bit to drill a hole at least 2 inches deep
It is important that the holes are as close to the center as possible.
More importantly you want the center holes to match up on both sides of the wood. If it isn't even then there will be issues with fitment when assembling the chair.
